ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Our distinguished editor/author of the 3,000 case summaries is Robin Miller, a member of the State Bar of California. Robin received her education at Brown University and Boston University School of Law. She has been a legal writer, researcher and editor for over 25 years.

After law school, her first job was as a legal editor at Bancroft-Whitney in San Francisco, one of the country's oldest legal publishers, dating to the 1850s, and now part of Thomson West. While she had assumed that she would practice law, she found that a more scholarly approach to the law was consistent with her personality and background.

With the advent of electronic publishing she found an opportunity for small publishers, and became involved in bankruptcy law by writing half a dozen ALR Federal annotations for Thomson West on the BAPCPA amendments to the Bankruptcy Code.

She decided to commit herself to bankruptcy law, and now works full-time publishing Consumer Bankruptcy Abstracts & Research (cbar.pro).
